Sat. May 5, 8 pm:  St. Jovite Quartet – easy to listen to Jazz with a pinch of Pat Metheny, and George Benson.  The musicians are Alain Boyer, Alain Juteau, Normand Lachapelle, and Sylvain Provost.  $25

 

Sun. May 13, 2 pm: Jean-Michel Blais a pianist from Montreal who combines sensitivity with  the pop of Yann Tiersen and Chilly Gonzales, with the amazing technique of composers such as Philip Glass and Erik Satie.  $25

 

 

 

 

Sat. May 19, 8 pm: the Dear Criminals are Frannie Holder, Vincent Legault and Charles Lavoie their music combines electro, fantasy with beautiful unique voices, music that creates melancholic songs.  $25

 

 

 

 

Sat. May 26, 8 pm:  Alan Berger is a multi-instrumental Blues musician who sings at the piano.  He is originally from Chicago, but now a Quebecois.  Alan Gerber already accompanied Dylan, Joplin, and BB King.   A "Crazy" blues magician combines great technique with an amazing stage presence.  $30

 

 

 

Fri. June 1, 8 pm: two artists share the stage – Lisa-Marie Jolin and Monsieur Raph.  Lisa Marie Jolin sings folk and country music; Monsieur Raph is a one-man orchestra, multi-instrument musician, who sings, plays guitars, didgeridoo, and tapping his feet for the rythmes.  $25

 

 

 

       

 

Fri. & Sat. June 8 & 9, 8 pm: Fleurs d’acier – Theatre entre amis - Six women chose a beauty salon to express themselves. Thérèse, owner of the salon and a fine psychologist, listens to their adventures and dramas. They are funny, touching, sometimes cynical. "Fleur d'Acier" is an ode to feminine solidarity performed by six talented actresses: With Marie-Ève Trudel, Pascale Véziau, Marie-Claude Giroux, Stéphanie Loiseau, Élisabeth Lauzon and Roxanne Soucy. The text is by Robert Harling, and is staged by Carle Guité.  $25

 

Thur. June 14, 8 pm: Singer, song writer Arthur H, was born in Paris in 1966.  He began singing with a deep warm voice in the 90s influenced by Rock and Jazz music in particular Thelonious Monk, and Tom Waits.  He will perform material from his tenth album, “Amour chien fou.” $53

 Wed. Apr. 7, 8 pm: Trio Karim Ouellet.  Karim Ouellet came to Quebec from Dakar.   His music is infused with pop, soul, reggae, rock and electronic music. He comes to Val Morin after over two hundred successful shows.   $35

 

Sat. Apr. 21, 8 pm: Guylaine Tanguay – Mon Livre Vert – Country music star performs a new show with songs from her new recording.  Accompanied by her own musicians she will make it a memorable evening.        $35

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sat. Apr. 28, 8 pm:  Guy Bélanger presents “Traces & Scars”, with his harmonica this creative artist plays the Blues, and Folk accompanied by his musicians.  $35

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fri. May 4, 8 pm:  a concert by two artists  Samuele is a multi-instrumental delivers her intimate poetry in folk-rock style with a touch of blues, accompanied by her musicians.  Mathieu Bérubé delivers the intimate sound of folk and poetic-pop.  $25

Sun, May 13, 2 pm:  Jean-Michel Blais a pianist from Montreal who combines melodic music by Yann Tiersenm and Chilly Gonzales, and inspired by Philip Glass and Eric Satie.  His fingers simply caress the piano keys and he even gets up to pull the piano strings for a special sound.  $25

Fri. Mar. 2, 8 pm: Philippe Brach, presents “Le Silence des Troupeaux” - winner of a Felix award in 2015.  Philippe Brach returns with his third recording.  $32

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sat. Mar. 3, 8 pm: – The Kawandak quartet (white spruce Algonquin), was founded in 2008 by Norman Guilbeault, contrabassist and composer.  Norman Guilbeault was well known with his Jazz trio.  He became interested in finding his roots and created a meeting of traditional indigenous music with North American music.  $28

Mar. 9, 8 pm: Lydia Kepinski, Cédrik Saint-Onge – Lydia Kepinski plays the guitar and the keyboard, and sings original songs in French.  She possesses a voice with which she expresses intimate emotions.  Cédrik Saint-Onge: sings about the beauty of nature’s seasons in the Gaspé region.  $25

 

Sat. Mar. 10, 8 pm: Karen Young & Coral Egan - Two acclaimed performers and songwriters Karen Young and her daughter Coral Egan, a mother-daughter sing and harmonize together, covering the different types of music they sing.  $35

Sat. Mar. 17, 8 pm: Paul DesLauriers Band - Greg Morency, Sam Harrisson & Paul DesLauriers present “Relentless.”  On Jan. 15 this year, the Paul DesLauriers Band was named Entertainer of the Year for the second year in a row at the 21st Annual Maple Blues Awards!   $30

Sat. Mar. 24, 8 pm: The Jeepsters present “A Bowie Celebration” a tribute to the great David Bowie.  The music will be accompanied by screenings from his career and the Ziggy Stardust band.   $35

Fri. Mar. 30, 8 pm: Collectif Sortie 76 celebrates its 10th anniversary a women’s fund collection with laughter, emotions and sharing.  $20

Fri. Feb. 2. 8 pm: Gabrielle Shonk holds a degree in Jazz.  Since her appearance in “La Voix” 2014 this singer songwriter gained popularity.  First Act by: Soran Dussaigne who was discovered during the 4th season of La Voix.  $25

 

 

      

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sat. Feb. 3, 8 pm: Momentos Flamencos is a one-hour performance of traditional flamenco dance and music pieces.  Four artists are on stage, Dancer Rosanne Dion is accompanied by Fernando Gallegos Torres voice, Caroline Plant plays the guitar, and Miguel Medina does percussions.  $32

 

 

 

 

 

Sat. Feb. 10, 8 pm:  Résonances Boréales - Roman Zavada plays the piano and composes music inspired by the splendour of the Northern Lights.  A video screening of the beauty of the Canadian North will accompany his music.  $30

Jan. 18, 2018, 8 pm:  Bobby Bazini - summer is Gone! -Bobby Bazini reflects on his younger years in a festival where he met the lady he now shares his life with.  The last nine years past so fast he says, going on tours, and recording.  He misses the times that there were no worries and everything was so simple.   $45

 

 

 

 

 

Tue. Jan. 19, 8 pm:  Aliocha sings in English from his album “Eleven Songs” he is accompanied by his Brother Volodia Schneider - Drummer; multi-instrumentalist - Christian Sean, and on bass Tom Tartarin.  Opening act by: Bernhari, indie rock.  $23

Sat. Jan. 27, 8 pm: self -taught song-writer-singer Sally Folk sings pieces from her album “3e Acte” sings about modern women’s life and touches on subjects rarely touched.  $35
