Mon. Dec. 18, 7 pm: 1st edition of Open Mic.  All styles of music performed by amateurs and pros alike.  Come and share your passion for music.  You can come earlier.  Free admission!

Sun. Nov. 12, 9 am-5 pm: Salle du Souvenir, Morin Heights Library:  Grant Writing Workshop for Performing Artists.  Presented by ELAN - From Project grants to Travel grants. Learn how to improve your applications for a greater chance of success.  $5

Wed. Dec. 6, 7 – 10 pm: Special show with guitar ace Dwane Dixon & Friends also known as Double D and the Good Times Band.  If you already heard this musician sing “Working Men Blues” chances are you will enjoy this evening at the Legion.  These musical evenings at the Legion have started over a year ago, and are becoming quite popular.  Most times, the audience comes up front to dance, and believe me everyone moves from 19 to 93, and it rocks!  Tickets at the door!  $10.00

Sun. July 29th to Aug. 6 – ARTS Morin Heights Annual Exhibition, at the St. Eugène Hall, 148, chemin Watchorn, Morin Heights, opening hours: 11 am to 5 pm.  Vernissage, Sat. Jul. 29, 5-7 pm.  Thirty-three local artists who work in watercolour, acrylic and oil painting, pastel, etching, pottery, photography, and stained glass.
