Sept. 16 – Jan. 8 – Two artists are presented: Richard Purdy: “Exultation” - Richard Purdy does performance art, paintings, installation as sculpture and works with researchers in other disciplines. Richard Purdy studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, obtained a Master’s in Arts Florence, Italy, and a Doctorate from UQAM in 2000. He teaches visual art and art history, and directs research projects.




Stella Pace – “autrement dit” – Graduate of Concordia University, she begins her work with drawings to create installations, collage assembly, paintings and sculptures, on paper she does Collagraphie and large sized digital prints.  Her sculptures are improvised textural work.

Thur. Sept. 28, 9:30 am -  15th project “Parole d’artistes, Parole des Diffuseurs”, a collaboration of Theatre Patriote and Theatre du Marais: Ensemble vocal Neptune, Rendez-vous baroque français, and Chances will perform.  The group Neptune, mainly sing a cappella, a repertoire of music arranged by Ward Swingle, including music by Jean-Sébastien Bach, Claude Debussy, Beatles, as well as jazz from the 1930-1940s.  Five women and three men will enchant you with their beautiful harmonies.  (They also have a concert at this theatre on Nov. 26.)


Fri. Oct. 6, 8 pm: Martin Léon recounts the origin of his songs from the album “Les Atomes”, mostly written during a trip to Asia.  $32
